GBM HYPNOBIRTH ‘THE GOWRI WAY' - SPECIALISED VISUALISATION COURSE

Build confidence, reduce fear, and deepen the bond between mother, partner, and baby with Gentle Birth Method Hypnobirth ‘The Gowri Way’.

This live course supports your mental and emotional preparation for birth through self-hypnosis, visualisation, breathwork, movement, education, and practical tools for labour and recovery. It has been developed over more than 30 years to help mothers and couples feel calm, informed, and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period.

You can choose between a 4-week small group course or a 3-week private 1-to-1 course with Dr Gowri Motha. Both cover the same core content.

  • 4-Week Live Group Course

A small, supportive class for mothers and couples who would like to learn in a shared setting.

This live course introduces the mental preparation aspect of the Gentle Birth Method and gives you practical tools to use during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

You’ll learn:

  • self-hypnosis techniques for daily practice during pregnancy and for birth

  • visualisation techniques to support a calm pregnancy and positive birthing experience

  • birth education through visualisation

  • guidance to encourage optimal positioning of your baby

  • partner massage techniques taught to couples

  • movements for birth, including micro-movements, posture awareness, yoga, and the Alexander technique

  • breathing techniques to help manage surges and contractions

  • pelvic birthing zone preparation using oils and self-stretching techniques

  • guidance on nutrition and suitable supplements

  • tummy wrapping techniques and their benefits

  • pre and postnatal support for mother and baby

  • postnatal recovery, care, and dietary guidance
